Member Groups

Member groups of  Self Help Queensland Inc (SHQ) are self help and support groups covering a very broad range of health conditions and wellbeing issues. They may be located locally, statewide, nationally or internationally.

Member groups include those relating to rare or common disorders, genetic conditions, grief and loss, assault and abuse, emotional and mental health issues, addiction, chronic illness, physical and intellectual disability, ethnic and cultural,  sexual health, sexuality, parenting and childbirth, discrimination, prisoners and ex-prisoners, unemployment, injured workers, poverty, homelessness, environment, advocacy and many others.

Currently, there is still no fee for groups to become members of Self Help Queensland.

Membership is attained by completing a membership application form available on the website or from the SHQ office.
